A Celebration of Australia's Iconic Native Fish
This August, Ottie's is delighted to welcome one of Australia's great sustainability stories to the table.
Aquna Sustainable Murray Cod is pond-grown in the Riverina region of New South Wales, on the waters of the Murray–Darling Basin — the very river system this remarkable fish calls home. Raised in free-range ponds without cages, antibiotics or hormones, and green-rated by the Australian Marine Conservation Society's GoodFish Guide, it is farming done properly: firm, clean-flavoured fish that gives back to the river, with millions of fingerlings released into the wild through conservation restocking programs.

From Saturday 1 August to Monday 31 August, three special Murray cod dishes will be served alongside our à la carte menu, each for $43.
